Role

Insomniac Games, Inc. seeks a Senior Animator in Burbank, CA to focus on quality, speed and communication for complete character development.

Responsibilities include contributing to the realization of successful characters and sequences through high-quality animation and motion for characters and objects, aligning with storyboard panels and the director's vision, and creating art assets for title productions using computer software. Proficiency with 3D software packages, including Maya, is required to illustrate and bring 3D characters and environmental objects to life. Telecommuting and / or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Animation or related field or equivalent education / experience
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience creating and editing dramatic sequences using cinematography and animation skills
• At least five (5) years of experience creating high-quality, appealing animations that contribute to successful characters and sequences
• Experience creating art assets for title productions using computer software
• Experience creating performance and motion for characters and objects based on storyboard panels and the director’s vision
• Proficiency with 3D software packages, including Maya

Salary range : $161,907.00 – $214,800.00 / year
