Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse Charge with YesCare, you will play a vital role in leading and managing the nursing team while ensuring quality patient care. Your responsibilities include :

Leadership and Supervision :

Oversee the nursing program in the Health Care Unit under the direction of the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing.

Supervise nursing and paraprofessional staff for one shift and share 24-hour accountability.

Recruitment and Training :

Participate in recruiting and orienting new nursing personnel.

Actively organize and participate in in-service training programs and staff meetings.

Develop and deliver training seminars to educate new staff or introduce new procedures and protocols.

Policy and Program Development :

Assist in creating and implementing policies, procedures, rules, and regulations for the Health Care Unit.

Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on policy and program development.

Performance Management :

Evaluate staff performance and implement corrective measures when necessary.

Schedule and conduct performance evaluations for non-supervisory nursing personnel.

Clinical Collaboration :

Work with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient health reviews.

Supervise the preparation and maintenance of nursing care records and treatment documentation.

Patient Care Oversight :

Plan, supervise, and implement various nursing care techniques.

Supervise emergency medical care following facility policies.

Communication and Liaison Duties :

Serve as the liaison between nursing staff and Directors of Nursing to relay pertinent information.

Provide consulting support to resolve healthcare delivery challenges.

Administrative Tasks :

Ensure the security of medications, supplies, and equipment.

Prepare and submit daily, monthly, and annual medical records and reports.

Continuous Improvement :

Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Monitor healthcare delivery trends to identify and implement improvements.

Other Responsibilities :

Attend staff and administrative meetings as required.

Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as needed.

Carry out other duties as assigned by management.

Key Qualifications

Education : Graduation from an approved nursing education program with a diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Experience : One (1) to Two (2) years of professional nursing experience preferred.

Certifications : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is mandatory.

Skills :

Strong critical thinking and organizational abilities.

Decisive judgment and effective communication skills.

Excellent customer service and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.

Other Requirements :

Must comply with YesCare and departmental policies and procedures.

Must meet initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.

Background check, security clearance, and drug screening are required.
