Assistant Superintendent- Commercial General Contractor

Our client, a reputable General Contractor specializing in ground-up commercial construction, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join their team in Houston. With a strong pipeline of projects across K-12, Religious, Higher Education, and Healthcare, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career while working on meaningful, large-scale builds.

  • Experience in multi-family or residential will not be considered

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day on-site construction activities.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and schedule standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to keep projects on track.
  • Support project documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Gain hands-on experience with ground-up commercial builds.

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction as an Assistant Superintendent (commercial experience required).
  • Strong, consistent tenures with previous employers – stability is essential.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
