We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Shop Foreman to lead our service department and ensure the efficient operation of our shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. As the Automotive Shop Foreman, you will oversee the daily activities of the service technicians, manage workflow, provide technical guidance, and ensure that customer vehicles are serviced promptly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of service technicians to ensure high standards of performance, quality, and safety.
• Oversee the daily workflow in the shop, ensuring timely and efficient completion of repairs and maintenance services.
• Inspect vehicles and diagnose issues, providing technical support and guidance to technicians when necessary.
• Ensure that all repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Prioritize service jobs, schedule repairs, and assign work to technicians based on skill level and experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for the shop and all employees.
• Assist in the training and development of new technicians, fostering a team-oriented and productive work culture.
• Monitor technician performance and provide feedback for improvement and advancement.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles, providing accurate estimates, updates, and explanations of needed services.
• Ensure that the shop meets or exceeds industry standards for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer concerns or complaints related to services and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of repair work, parts inventory, and other operational details.
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
