Join Our Night Owl Team! Overnight Loss Prevention Officer – 11pm - 7am Shift

Are you a night owl with a keen eye for detail and a passion for keeping people safe? WinStar World Casino & Resort is looking for an Overnight Loss Prevention Officer to join our dedicated security team during the night shift (11pm - 7am). This is your opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our guests, employees, and hotel property while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do :

As an Overnight Loss Prevention Officer , you'll be the vigilant guardian of the hotel during the night shift, overseeing key safety responsibilities :

  • Ensure Safety & Security : Safeguard hotel guests, employees, and assets by monitoring both interior and exterior spaces through regular patrols.
  • Be the First Line of Defense : Respond quickly to any security concerns, handle complaints, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Lost & Found and Key Control : Manage key control and oversee the Lost & Found process, ensuring items are returned to their rightful owners.
  • Radio Control : Maintain effective radio communication, responding to requests and reporting incidents.
  • Collaborate Across Teams : Work alongside hotel departments to ensure both guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining a secure environment.
  • Enforce Policies : Uphold WinStar's established safety policies and procedures, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for all.
  • Cultural Ambassador : Embrace and promote the WinStar Culture , ensuring hospitality excellence and teamwork are always top of mind.
  • Support Training & Development : Assist in hotel training programs, helping your team stay prepared and aware of safety procedures.
  • Adapt to Other Duties : Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management – flexibility and teamwork are key!

What We're Looking For :

  • Experience : Previous experience in security or hospitality is preferred, but a strong desire to learn and grow is just as important.
  • Communication Skills : Must be able to communicate effectively in English , both verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-Solving Ability : Ability to stay calm under pressure and think quickly in fast-paced and sometimes stressful situations.
  • Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic security systems required.
  • Team Player : You're flexible, dependable, and willing to pitch in wherever needed to support your team.
  • Availability : Able to work overnight shifts and weekends, with the potential for overtime when needed.

    • Physical & Mental Demands :

  • Physically able to move around the property, including bending, kneeling, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Able to handle potentially stressful situations while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable working in a variety of environments, from the indoor hotel areas to outdoor spaces in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move items as necessary, up to 50 lbs.
