Position Overview : Trophy Point Investment Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Post Closing Processor who will be responsible for managing two critical functions : preparing, coordinating, and recording lien release documents following loan payoffs, and supporting the company’s Capital Markets activities by monitoring and preparing loans for pledging with partner banks.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in loan servicing, title / escrow, or capital markets support. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of managing deadlines while ensuring compliance with county recording requirements and bank partner standards.

Key Responsibilities : Lien Release & Recording (Post-Closing)

  • Monitor payoff discharge statements received via email.
  • Notify borrowers, title companies, and attorneys of payoff confirmation, and request a release document along with a prepaid shipping label (if applicable).
  • Verify whether the $150 release document preparation and recording fee has been received.
  • Prepare and record release documents (e.g., Satisfaction of Mortgage, Release of Deed of Trust, Cancellation of Security Deed) based on state-specific requirements.
  • Update and maintain release templates to ensure compliance with county / state formatting and statutory requirements.
  • Communicate status updates to borrowers, attorneys, and title companies regarding their release requests.

Capital Markets – Loan Pledging Support

  • Understand bank partners’ requirements for loan eligibility under pledging agreements.
  • Monitor in- progress / onboarding loans to identify missing or incorrect information that could disqualify a loan from pledging.
  • Identify eligible funded loans for pledging and maintain an accurate pipeline of pledge able assets.
  • Prepare and deliver required documentation for loan pledging.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Loan Operations, Underwriting, Closing, Servicing) to resolve missing items or discrepancies.
  • Communicate with bank partners regarding the status of pledged loans and respond to requests for clarification.
  • Track and monitor ongoing changes in loan details such as maturity date, note amount, or interest rate, ensuring updated documentation is gathered and submitted.
  • Maintain organized records of all pledged loans and supporting documentation.
  • Qualifications : Required :

  • 2–4 years of experience in mortgage servicing, loan operations, title / escrow, or capital markets support.
  • Familiarity with lien release documents, payoff processing, and county / state recording requirements.
  • Strong understanding of loan documentation and collateral requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for borrower, attorney, title company, and bank partner interaction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and loan document systems.
  • Preferred :

  • Experience with eRecording platforms (Simplifile, CSC, or similar).
  • Experience supporting Capital Markets transactions or collateral management.
  • Knowledge of U.S. mortgage and real estate lending practices.
