Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery Center

Summary :

The competent Registered Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. This role involves providing both routine and complex healthcare services while developing long-range goals and plans. The Nurse will continue to enhance their ability to cope with and manage various contingencies in clinical nursing.

Responsibilities :

• Exceed expectations by demonstrating competencies as a Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, utilizing the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families, tailoring care to their specific level of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
• Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess educational needs and provide comprehensive information to patients, family members, and caregivers, while identifying issues and available resources.
