Job descriptionServe as the business lead on data governance initiatives and collaborate across business units. Define and document business metadata, data dictionaries, lineage, and quality rules. Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather business data requirements. Translate business needs into structured data specifications and workflows. Support legacy-to-modern system data mapping and migration strategy. Coordinate with IT and QA teams to validate data quality and reporting outputs. Define business rules for data validation, transformation, and exception handling. Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business, Data Management, or related field. 7+ years of experience in business data analysis or data governance roles. Experience with data management in pension funds, financial services, or public agencies is preferred. Strong understanding of data lineage, metadata, MDM, and business glossary concepts. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Visio, SharePoint, or data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra). Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
