Job Description

The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in the operational efficiency of our warehouse. The position involves loading and unloading trailers, supporting production processes, verifying shipments, and assisting with inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload outbound and inbound trailers, preparing proper documentation.
• Support production activities by staging production materials, removing finished products from the production floor, and reconciling product pull sheets with production.
• Ensure accurate inbound and outbound shipments by performing accurate product counts, freight damage assessments, QA check-in inspections, and discrepancy reporting.
• Manage upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Stock shelves and assist with daily inbound and outbound UPS/FedEx shipments.
• Perform daily equipment checks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• One year of experience in warehouse or manufacturing
• Ability to certify and operate a forklift and other equipment needed to move material
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work with hay and hay-based products
• Ability to lift 65 pounds, stoop, kneel, twist, bend and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in extreme heat and/or cold conditions as weather dictates
• Flexible schedule with some weekend hours
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in understanding and following written and verbal instructions in English

Work Environment

Work involves handling hay or grass, so no grass allergies are preferred. The schedule includes a first shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and a second shift from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday. There is also a Monday to Thursday first shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and a second shift from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.54 - $19.54/hr.
