Registered Nurse Job Details

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (potential to extend)

Location : Bemidji, MN 56601 – Minnesota healthcare jobs

Setting : Acute Care – OB / Labor & Delivery Unit

Shifts : 12-hour rotating day / night shifts (includes every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays)

Hours : 36 hours per week guaranteed

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2240 - $2400

Start Date : October 20, 2025

Orientation : Comprehensive unit and equipment orientation on first day

Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license (or willingness to obtain MN licensure quickly)

Minimum 2 years of recent OB / Labor & Delivery RN experience, including Postpartum and Pediatrics

Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP certifications required

Experience with EPIC EMR preferred; other EMR experience considered

Willingness to float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed

Ability to provide care in Labor, Postpartum, Nursery, and Pediatric settings

At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care for postpartum, stable antepartum, pediatric, newborn, GYN, and Med-Surg overflow patients

Serve as a second RN in the Special Care Nursery (SCN) as needed

Float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units per union contract guidelines

Utilize clinical equipment such as EPIC One Chart, Acudose, Philips Vitals Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, Responder 5 Call light system, and Medfusion Pumps

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including ward clerks, CNAs, charge / resource nurses, and LPN scrub nurses

Maintain accurate nursing documentation and ensure patient safety at all times
