Primary Location : Northbrook, IL - Hybrid, 3 days in office

Position Type : W2 Contract, 6 mos., Part-Time 20 hrs / week

Overview

TalentFish is casting a line for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) Capital Equipment. This is a 6-month (9 / 23 / 25-3 / 17 / 26) W2 contract role in Northbrook, IL (3 days in office) with our premier client!

The Supplier Quality Engineer ensures that suppliers of capital equipment meet the organization's quality, technical, and regulatory standards. This role supports manufacturing audits by assessing supplier processes, documentation, and compliance with specifications, with a focus on mitigating sourcing and production risks.

What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing audit roles, preferably in capital equipment or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to capital equipment.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Certification in auditing or quality systems (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor) preferred.

Compensation Information

The expected salary range for this position is $45 - $55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity. The salary range provided is in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
