Job description

Junior Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Manage core AP functions, including vouchering, payment preparation, and cash requirement reporting
Prepare AP roll forwards and maintain aged item reviews
Ensure accurate and timely payment processing
Assist with inventory and AP-related journal entries
Perform account reconciliations and accrual calculations
Support the comprehensive month-end close process
Develop and implement enhanced accounting procedures and internal controls
Analyze current processes and recommend efficiency improvements
Support additional projects and duties as business needs evolve

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

1-2 years of relevant accounting experience

Proficient Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)

Professional Attributes

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Outstanding communication skills across all management levels

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
