The Housekeeper is responsible for providing clean, sanitary, comfortable and orderly surroundings for the residents and visitors of Luther Ridge, a residential community for older adults located in Middletown, CT.

Our facility sits on a quiet wooded campus in the center of Connecticut, in Middlesex County. At Luther Ridge, we meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of our residents with personal care and professional expertise; regardless of financial means.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Responsible for maintaining a sanitary and attractive environment in specific assigned areas.
• Cleans resident apartments according to cleaning schedule including washing and vacuuming floors and cleaning bathrooms.
• Cleans all areas of facility as assigned including common areas and common area restrooms, TV / media rooms and offices.
• Responds to unplanned or emergency cleaning situations as needed.
• Reports any needed repairs immediately to supervisor.
• Maintains storage rooms in an organized fashion; maintains housekeeping carts and restocks for the following day.
• Adheres to established safety procedures.
• Assists staff and residents in emergency situations.
