Project Manager - Architecture & Interior Design

• ???? Pay : $90,000 - $120,000 per year (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong interior design background , or an Interior Designer capable of managing both ground-up architectural projects and interior design scopes . This is a mid to senior-level position , ideal for professionals ready to take on broader responsibilities in technical production, project coordination, and design execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage design and construction phases for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

Prepare and review construction documents, wall sections, and detailed drawings using Revit and AutoCAD .

Oversee interior design scopes , including space planning, material selection, and finish coordination.

Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, civil, and interiors) and integrate technical drawings.

Review RFIs, submittals, and project specifications for design and code compliance.

Manage client communication, permitting processes, and on-site coordination.

Mentor junior team members and ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (required).

5-10 years of experience in architectural or interior design project management.

Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing, and material coordination .

Familiarity with IBC, ADA / TAS , and permitting processes.

Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.

Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Houston / Sugar Land, TX area .
