The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AR Executive (SNF Medical Biller)
What You Will Do
Accurately bill Medicare and Managed Care claims (UB-04s) for 2–3 skilled nursing facilities on a monthly basis
Conduct follow-up on denied or underpaid claims, post contractual adjustments, and shift co-insurance to the correct payer buckets
Review remittance advices to verify accurate reimbursement per payer contracts
Participate in the Triple Check process and coordinate with facility staff for clean claim submission
Analyze aging reports and meet monthly with the VP of Revenue to identify trends and opportunities for collections improvement
Collaborate with Business Office Managers, MDS Coordinators, and Regional AR Directors to resolve billing issues
Serve as a subject matter expert on payor portals, PCC, Ability Network, and managed care contracts
Partner with IT vendors and payors to ensure billing system functionality and data accuracy
Monitor departmental performance, establish productivity goals, and provide reporting to Revenue Operations leadership
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and payer-specific billing regulations
Participate in AR strategy meetings and support workflow alignment across regions
Proactively manage and resolve medical denials, analyze root causes, and implement process improvements
Support team cohesion and knowledge sharing by encouraging open communication and active collaboration
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by leadership
What You Must Have
Associate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Finance preferred (experience considered in lieu of degree)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare receivables, billing, or insurance claims processing
Prior experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) billing strongly preferred
In-depth understanding of Medicare A / B, Managed Care, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines
Familiarity with PCC , Ability Network , and payer portal systems
Strong knowledge of federal and state billing compliance regulations
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in Excel and other data analysis / reporting tools
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving capabilities
