Irvine Clinical Research is the largest independent clinical research site network on the West Coast. We conduct Phase 2 & 3 trials in memory, depression, and obesity medicine, with a focus on neurology and psychiatry. The physician will oversee trials with disease-modifying therapies and novel approaches in these areas. This role supports multiple locations (Irvine, Long Beach, Inglewood, Riverside, Oakland) – please indicate preferred locations in your application.

The base pay range is $300,000.00 / yr - $350,000.00 / yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience; discuss with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Lead study team as a Principal or Sub-Investigator, ensuring trials are conducted safely and per protocol
• Conduct clinical intake interviews to determine medical eligibility of potential study participants
• Educate potential participants about diseases and the benefits of clinical trial participation
• Manage the safety of study participants; respond appropriately to adverse events in a timely manner
• Attend investigational meetings for new clinical trials and scientific conferences
• Provide medical leadership to the team of psychologists and study coordinators

This is a full-time, in-person position at one of our clinics (Riverside, Inglewood, Long Beach, or Oakland). There are no planned overnight or weekend hours.

The starting salary is $300,000 per year. A higher salary is available for candidates who meet one of these criteria : (1) current / previous investigator in pharmaceutical clinical trials of Alzheimer's Disease or obesity; (2) skill in intrathecal administration and CSF collection in clinic.

The company covers 100% of health / dental / vision insurance costs for eligible full-time employees. Vacation (PTO) is earned at 3 weeks per year.
