This position is responsible for closing Ares Real Estate Exchange (AREX) 1031 exchange investor purchases and current investors going through the 721-exchange / UPREIT process. Role will include entity document review, closing package and loan document preparation, account transfers and redemptions, as well as other transactional aspects of Ares Real Estate Exchange program (AREX). AREX is part of Ares Wealth Management Solutions, offering a unique investment solution through financial advisors to accredited investors seeking institutional quality replacement property for a 1031 tax-deferred real estate exchange.

Essential Job Duties

• Close new purchases into the Ares Real Estate Exchange program and other post-closing investor transactions, including UPREITs, account transfers and redemptions
• Communicate and collaborate with financial advisors, investors, qualified intermediaries, and internal business team members to ensure a highly professional, efficient, well-executed and accurate closing process
• Use internal systems to track and manage transactions, important dates, and deadlines throughout the closing process for investments and UPREIT transactions
• Perform and summarize background and AML checks on prospective investors
• Work with the Client Services Team on AREX investor account maintenance requests
• Coordinate with the loan underwriting team on closings involving debt
• Collaborate with the team of product sales specialists on issues effecting closings and customer relations

Compensation

$85,000 - $100,000
