Plant Administrative Assistant
Join a dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in supporting plant operations through various administrative functions. This role involves managing diverse tasks ranging from payroll and inventory tracking to providing administrative support for plant management. Responsibilities include operating the scale for weighing company, customer, and third-party trucks, processing vendor invoices and purchase orders efficiently, providing comprehensive administrative support for plant management, compiling, entering, and reporting payroll and production statistics accurately, tracking finished goods inventory, equipment utilization, plant costs, and labor hours, purchasing necessary parts and safety supplies, maintaining fuel inventory and equipment downtime reports, assisting with month-end accruals and reporting, processing personnel changes and maintaining employee files, and managing timekeeping using the Kronos system.
Essential Skills : Strong administrative assistance and support skills, proficiency in payroll processing and accounts payable, excellent customer service and office management capabilities, proficient in data entry, with experience using Kronos and Oracle, and experience in invoicing and administrative tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications : 2-3 years of relevant experience, experience with payroll processes, especially for a team of 13 people, familiarity with Payroll ERP systems like Kronos is preferred, experience with Accounting ERP systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards, and basic proficiency in Excel.
Work Environment : This role is fully onsite from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 6 AM to 2 PM. You will be part of a tight-knit team that values collaboration and efficiency.
Job Type & Location : This is a position based out of Saint Johnsville, New York. Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
