Business Relationship Management Team Lead - Information Technology Division

The Business Relationship Management (BRM) Team Lead provides strategic leadership and oversight to a team of Business Relationship Managers within the Information Technology Division (ITD). This role supports collaboration and acts as a primary point of focus between Districts / Divisions and ITD professionals — supporting BRMs in their role as strategic connectors between business needs and ITD capabilities, helping facilitate alignment and collaboration across teams to enable value-driven outcomes.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Acting as the primary point of focus between the districts and division and ITD for strategy, delivery, and operations.
  • Aiding divisions and districts in defining business requirements.
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of strategic solutions.
  • Developing product roadmaps.
  • Working closely with IT teams to make recommendations for ITD processes associated with software technology planning, development and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
  • 6 years of experience in business systems analysis and design, project management or info technology management.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Preferred qualifications include :

  • Direct experience functioning as a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) at TxDOT.
  • Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP) certification.
