Summary of Job Duties :

The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI) is a health policy organization that is administratively housed within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. ACHI's mission is to be a catalyst for improving the health of Arkansans through evidence-based research, public issue advocacy, and collaborative program development. ACHI has served as a major contributor and trusted health policy leader in statewide efforts to improve the health of Arkansans and to drive innovation and efficiency for the state's healthcare delivery system.

The Business Systems Specialist is a temporary-part-time position that will support the processes required to maintain the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement analytic databases, infrastructure, and contributing data systems. The Business Systems Specialist will possess expertise in health insurance claims data, automated data intake processes, and software development life cycle practices to ensure accurate and timely processing management and support. This individual will provide process level subject matter expertise for existing data projects and technology solutions including expertise in data processes and data relationships to support data and analytic solutions.
