The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Division of Finance & Procurement seeks a Revenue Analyst. The selected candidate will report to the revenue supervisor under Expense budget / Fiscal Audit & ActPybl and assist in facilitating payment reimbursement from utility companies based on contracts between New York City and utility companies for utility interference work performed for DDC construction projects. The Revenue Analyst will assist with determining balances owed by utility companies based on analysis of payment history, time records, and Engineering Audit Office (EAO) reports; prepare bills for joint bid projects with supporting documentation based on quantities, extras, and credits; prepare Billing Summary Spreadsheet indicating invoices sent and payments received; generate invoices with supporting documentation based on timesheets and expenses for Resident Engineering Inspection (REI) and Force Account (FA) projects; process entering Billed Receivables (RE), Cash Receipts (CRE), and Revenue Refund (PRF1) into FMS; and manage non-joint bid revenue streams, including FHWA grant funds, with deposit tickets and cash receipts. Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from the Comptroller’s Office, OMB, DOT, and other agencies.

Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for Assignment Level II, candidates need at least one year of experience as an Accountant - Level I or two years of professional accounting or auditing experience.
Preferred Skills
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel, excellent organizational, verbal, and written skills. Knowledge of FMS is a plus.
