Legal Translator and Editor

A company is looking for a Georgian English - (Legal) Translator, Editor, and / or Transcriber (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Translate, edit, and transcribe legal documents and audio files from Georgian to English and vice versa

Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions while ensuring the use of appropriate legal terminology

Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

U.S. citizen willing to undergo a government background check for a Public Trust security clearance

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

2 to 3 years of experience in translation and / or editing between English and a foreign language

2 to 3 years of experience in audio transcription using relevant software

Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and the target foreign language
