ER RN Job Details Location : Peoria, Illinois (61637) – Illinois nursing jobs Facility : Level 1 Trauma Center, Emergency Department Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Room RN jobs Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12 Hour Days Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed) Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend; holiday coverage as needed Estimated Weekly Pay : $1880 - $2020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or proof of application Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience preferred At least 1 prior travel nurse assignment preferred Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or TNS Proficiency in titrating vasopressor and cardiac drips Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias SANE RN experience and teaching hospital experience preferred ER RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care to all age groups in the emergency department Respond to trauma, cardiac arrest, stroke, and critically ill patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, and ED techs Titrate and manage IV drips and emergency medications Draw labs and assist with bedside procedures Interpret cardiac rhythms using Phillips monitors (training provided) Document patient care in the EPIC charting system Participate in block scheduling and support weekend / holiday coverage Maintain professionalism with appropriate scrubs (no specific color required) Discover top travel nursing jobs in Illinois and experience the best of Peoria while making a difference in emergency healthcare.
