Imagine stepping into a role where you orchestrate preventive maintenance, mentor technicians, and partner cross-functionally to eliminate downtime. You’ll balance strategic planning with hands-on problem solving, ensuring calibrated instruments, safe contractor work, and continuous improvement projects that move the plant forward.

Your impact

  • Set direction and priorities for the maintenance function; communicate a clear plan of record.
  • Design and deliver training for multiple skill levels; support career growth and conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Assess plant maintenance requirements and turn insights into action.
  • Execute repairs on production equipment—both electrical and mechanical—to maintain availability.
  • Own preventive maintenance strategy, scheduling, and execution.
  • Maintain calibration programs for scales, gauges, and critical instruments.
  • Lead capital and continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
  • Approve parts requests, manage vendor services, and enforce company safety standards.
  • Review maintenance financials and performance versus company targets.
  • Hire the right talent : interview, evaluate, and recommend maintenance candidates.
  • Coach and, when necessary, administer disciplinary actions to uphold standards.
  • Collaborate daily with Managers, Supervisors, and production teams on maintenance activities.
  • Elevate housekeeping and 6S as non-negotiable disciplines.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues while meeting productivity expectations.
  • Model compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Handle related duties as assigned to support operations.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • High School Diploma / GED and a Bachelor’s in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant maintenance experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and managing maintenance systems.
  • Strong communicator and problem solver with a people-centric leadership approach.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to learn new applications quickly.
  • Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and skill in compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Physical and attendance requirements

  • Physical Requirements :
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards.

    Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

    Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job.

    Must be able to climb ladders and stairs multiple times throughout the shift.

    Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties.

    Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools. Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner.

    Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds multiple times throughout shift.

    Must be able to wear required safety equipment.
