  • Clinical Setting : Operating Room (OR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Circulator, Pre-Op\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Hawaii or compact state\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience\n
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR); Cerner EMR experience preferred\n
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association required)\n
  • Ability to complete hospital and unit orientation, including competency binder\n
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills\n

    • \n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Circulate in the Operating Room and deliver direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures\n
  • Support the surgical team in maintaining a safe, sterile, and efficient environment\n
  • Monitor patient status and accurately document care in the EMR system\n
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and PACU staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Participate in hospital and unit orientation; complete all required nursing competencies\n
  • Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and infection control standards\n
