About The Position

EKG exam required for all RNs

Description :

The role involves providing care to patients with behavioral health issues.

Registered Nurses will work with adolescents, adults, and pediatrics.

Patient diagnoses include major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and substance abuse disorders.

The nurse will be responsible for crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

Skills required include medication administration, blood glucose monitoring, and emergency procedures.

The nurse will manage patient behavior and participate in treatment planning.

Daily staffing ratios are typically 1 nurse to 6 patients.

Travel may be required between facilities as needed.

The candidate must be prepared to pass a mandatory EKG exam.

Additional training will be provided during the compliance process.

All candidates must comply with mandatory health protocols including vaccination requirements.

The environment is fast-paced and requires strong assessment and communication skills.
