Travel Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray

Location : Pittsfield, MA

Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Schedule : 8-Hour Evening Shifts

Shift Times : 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Weekends / Holidays : TBD, Holiday coverage as required

On-Call : None

Position Overview

Join a respected hospital in Pittsfield, Massachusetts as a Travel Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) . This evening shift role is ideal for an experienced imaging professional who can work independently, deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging, and maintain excellent patient care standards.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using independent judgment and technical skills

Ensure proper radiation safety practices and patient positioning

Operate PACS, HIS, and RIS systems efficiently

Troubleshoot and operate CR, DR, and PACS applications

Maintain compliance with OSHA, infection control, and hospital safety policies

Protect patient confidentiality at all times

Support departmental operations and mentor staff as assigned

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience

1 year of recent X-Ray experience – Required

ARRT (R) certification – Required

BLS – Required (AHA preferred)

Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

Must be willing to work weekends as needed

Strong clinical competency and attention to detail

Excellent communication and patient care skills
