Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of Siemens experience to work day shifts and float between two sites.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Nuclear Medicine department serving both Connecticut and Rhode Island hospital locations
  • Day shift schedule : 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM, 5x8 hour shifts, every other weekend and holidays as needed
  • Traveler will float between two hospital sites in neighboring states
  • Limited on-call coverage may be required
  • Free parking available
  • EPIC experience is preferred
  • May be required to float between Connecticut and Rhode Island hospital locations
  • Modules must be completed pre-start and annually
  • Return staff must have a 2-year separation from prior employment to be considered as a traveler
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off will be automatically approved
  • Local candidates within 75 miles are generally not accepted unless for Nuclear Medicine Tech or CT Tech positions, in which case local rates apply
  • Participation in natural disaster or emergency response activities may be required
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
  • Experience with Siemens equipment is required
  • NMTCB certification required; NMTCB(CT) not required
  • Rhode Island license required if applicable, but can work in Connecticut while license is pending
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • One professional reference required
  • Flu vaccine required without exceptions
  • COVID-19 vaccine and booster required unless qualifying for medical or religious exemption
