Anesthesiology Physician

Opportunity : Board Certified - Anesthesiology Job Details :

• General anesthesiology position (not pediatric specific) with comfort in regional anesthesia required
• Monday through Friday coverage, 10-hour shifts acceptable
• No requirement to work with premies or neonates
• Primarily MD supervising CRNAs with occasional solo work
• Call is negotiable but not required (from home, not in-house)
• Looking for 2 candidates who can commit to minimum 3 weeks per month
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required
• No cardiac cases
• Must be comfortable with various anesthesia types including general, spinal, epidural, and regional
• Experience with obstetrical cases, neurosurgical, thoracic, vascular, and complex orthopedic cases preferred
• Skills in central line, arterial line placement preferred
• Must have active Texas medical license
• Board certification required with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
