Refrigeration Technician (Reefer Tech)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to maintain and repair refrigerated diesel box trucks. The Reefer Tech will diagnose, service, and repair refrigeration units to ensure reliability and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on refrigerated units.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and cooling system issues.
• Ensure proper performance of refrigeration systems for compliance with food safety and transport requirements.
• Maintain detailed service records and repair logs.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs when needed.
• Collaborate with fleet and operations teams to schedule maintenance.

Qualifications

Certification or specialized training in transport refrigeration systems (reefer systems) preferred.
