ABOUT THE ROLE
The Tube Roller is responsible for rolling, stabbing, assembling, and performing hydrostatic testing on tubes to ensure quality and precision. This role supports the production process by adhering to safety protocols, quality standards, and efficiency measures.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to identify tube specifications and ensure precise execution
- Roll and stab tubes into sections following established procedures
- Conduct hydrostatic testing in line with standard work instructions
- Assemble tube and section components, ensuring proper fit and functionality
- Document hydrostatic testing results and assembly information on traveler
- Operate cranes and other machinery as needed to support tube handling and assembly
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Take on additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to support production goals and team efficiency
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
High school diploma or equivalent6 months to 1 year of experience in manufacturing, heat exchanger industry preferredCrane and manlift certification, or the ability to obtain certifications upon hireStrong attention to detail and precision in executing tasksSelf-motivated with a proactive attitude toward work and problem-solvingStrong ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentPhysical stamina and ability to frequently reach, lift, sit, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, squat, bend, and balanceExcellent hand-eye coordination for safe operation of tools and machineryCommitted to working safely and maintaining a hazard-free workspaceFamiliar with and committed to following JSA (Job Safety Analysis), work instructions, and required personal protective equipment (PPE) protocolsAbility to identify and address defective items, ensuring timely corrective actionsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in challenging situationsTakes pride in delivering high-quality work and contributing to the overall success of the teamFlexibility and willingness to perform other related duties as neededWHY JOIN EADS?
