Goldbelt Apex is looking for a Quality Specialist. Responsibilities include supporting the development and implementation of QC methodologies to ensure compliance with QA standards, guidelines, and procedures in a logistical based organization. The role also involves supporting the development and definition efforts of major and minor characteristics of quality including quality metrics and scoring parameters and determining requisite QC resources for an actual effort.
The Quality Specialist will maintain a process for evaluating QC methodologies to comply with standards, capture data generated by new mission set like equipment work orders, life cycle maintenance, AARs, QC messages, pending work orders with open item follow ups, scheduled parts replacement, Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS)/MMIS data management, and trends analysis. They will conduct and/or participate in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development cycle and may perform duties and responsibilities as the assistant to the MEMO.
Necessary skills and knowledge include strong organizational and time management skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or higher, minimum 10 years of Medical Materiel Specialist Level II or higher field experience, to include six years of specialized medical materiel management and quality assurance management experience. Specialized experience shall include: general supply activities, ordering, receiving, quality assurance management, trend analysis, quality assurance data management, customer support, inventory management, assemblage management, warehousing, and operation of various materials handling equipment. The specialized experience shall be in a healthcare or healthcare support environment or setting. Must have subject matter expert level experience in using and running transactions in the MMIS. Must have a Secret clearance.
Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in a related field.
