The company is at an exciting inflection as we continue to expand our existing brand portfolio and deepen relationships with new and existing customers. The Quality Control Inspector checks the quality of incoming and outgoing products for Royal Switchgear by conducting tests, monitoring production processes, and validation of product to written standards and identifying non-conformances.

WORK SCHEDULE
Monday - Thursday : 6am - 4 : 30pm
Friday : 6am - 2 : 30pm
Saturday (as needed) : 6am - 11 : 30am
Candidates must be able to work up to 6 days per week with Saturdays scheduled on an as-needed basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspecting products to ensure that they meet quality standards, approving or holding product as required per inspection standards.Performing testing to ensure conformance.Monitoring production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications.Directing assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standardsCommunicating the results of inspections and putting forward corrective suggestions.Completing required documentation / paperwork as directed for assigned position to support Royal Switchgear requirements.Controlling of non-conforming parts and products.Working under the direction of a group leader.Responsible for continually maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Following written and verbal instructions.QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES
High School diploma / GED required.Minimum of 2 years' proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector preferred.Ability to read and interpret small print on gauges, blueprints, or product labels.Ability to detect small defects in parts or products through visual inspection.Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards.Excellent oral and written communications skills.Proficiency in reading engineering documentation; prints, drawings, and bills of material.Proficiency in using inspection tools; angle gauge, tape measure, and calipers.Proficiency in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.Good knowledge about industry products and processes.Basic mathematical arithmetic skills.Basic presentation and reporting skills.Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.WORKING CONDITIONS
