ROLE OVERVIEW
In this position, you will be a leader in our Asset Management Services function to build strategies, business plan and execute the business plan to support the implementation and execution of a Asset Maintennace Services offering to mining and heavy equipment end users, consistent with Thiess' diversification objectives, and to ensure efficient delivery to new mining customers in North America.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define team strategies and actions to ensure business objectives are achieved
- Effectively coordinate efforts across functional teams and stakeholder groups
- Deal effectively with issues, conflict and problems and escalates matters for resolution as required
- Actively support and champions change initiatives across the business
- Develop and maintains a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide clear performance expectations to personnel and reinforces correct behaviours
- Promote, encourage and foster Thiess' safety culture within the team"
- Lead, monitor and review HSE compliance and performance improvement initiatives and interventions as required.
- Perform regular inspections, audits and behavioural observations to identify hazards and risks when visiting sites
- Share knowledge with others and contribute to team discussions and meetings
- Ensure Thiess Asset Services business meets all legislative requirements and relevant standards
- Support site teams with incident investigations relevant to Thiess Asset Services business
- Performs other related duties as assigned

10+ years experience in relevant business leadership roleDemonstrated Leadership capabilityDemonstrated systems thinking ability and designTechnical experience with relevant Asset Services and maintenance technologies and processesCommercial acumenInnovation and strategy implementationAbility to negotiate with stakeholders and influence outcomesTeam player with highly effective communication skillAuthorization to work lawfully in the USA without sponsorship from Thiess is requiredDesirable :Fluency in the English & Spanish languages
