Summary of Job Purpose :

Performs non-nursing skills such as transport of patients, equipment / supplies and other tasks as deemed necessary under the direction of the Director of Education and Training.

Provides a safe, quiet, comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Demonstrates accountability for job responsibility and job functions.

Responsible to the Director of Education.

Works effectively with members of the health care team, administrative personnel and maintains a cooperative working relationship intradepartmental and interdepartmentally.

Job Qualifications :

Education : High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Licensure / Registration / Certification : None

Work Experience : No minimum prior experience required

Working Conditions

Manual : significant manual skills / motor coord & finger dexterity

Occupational : Significant occupational risk

Physical Effort :

Physical Environment : Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
