Clinical Nurse III - Post Cardiothoracic Surgery

Preferred Advanced Skills : Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation and management, vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medications, and chest tube management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and procedures.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Guide ancillary personnel and uphold professional nursing standards.
