Job description

Position :

IT Support Specialist

Compensation : $20 / Hr

As an Entry-Level IT Support Specialist, you'll ensure smooth day-to-day technology operations across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy individual eager to grow their career in IT support, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist :

Serve as the

first point of contact

for technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to

hardware, software, and network connectivity .

Create and maintain accurate

documentation

for support procedures, FAQs, and system configurations.

Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements and knowledge base updates.

Educate users

on best practices and basic troubleshooting techniques.

Collaborate with the IT Director and team to support

infrastructure projects

and system upgrades

Assist in

setting up and configuring workstations , laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

Support onboarding

and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment provisioning.

Participate in

inventory management

and equipment tracking.

Preferred Experience of the IT Support Specialist :

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience managing user accounts & permissions, and troubleshooting issues within

M365 Admin Center

(Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).

Familiarity with

VoIP

systems, including setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.

Understanding of

networking fundamentals

(TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP), and experience with routers, switches, and wireless access points.

Hands-on experience with

printer

maintenance, and troubleshooting across various models and environments.

Experience with help desk

ticketing systems

and remote support tools.

Familiarity with

Windows OS

and macOS operating systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good verbal and written communication abilities.
