Position Overview

CHA is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to support our OB / GYN practice in Cambridge. In this key role, you will contribute to the effective operation of clinic visits, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care. Be a vital part of a team that addresses the reproductive health needs of patients at every stage of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow efficiently and assist in rooming patients
• Document medical histories and collect patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Take vital signs and perform point-of-care testing
• Assist providers during clinical procedures
• Schedule screening tests and follow-up appointments
• Support outreach and care coordination efforts through effective patient communication

Qualifications

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent experience required.

Certifications : Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Language Skills : Must be able to communicate effectively in English; fluency in a second language is a strong plus.

Work Experience : Preferred experience as a Medical Assistant and familiarity with administrative duties in a clinical environment.
