Job Description

As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol - Multiple Shifts in Roebuck, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a bustling retail or mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. You will be a welcoming presence, ready to assist with inquiries and respond to situations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the location.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Support emergency response efforts as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
