The EHS Construction and Contractor EHS Manager position is responsible for all CoreWeave construction project support globally. Additionally, the position is responsible for EHS programs for CoreWeave visitors. The role involves direct engagement with the construction management team throughout the various phases of construction projects, including concept, pre-planning, planning, contract negotiations, build, commissioning, and turnover. The manager will collaborate with legal and risk management to ensure that EHS considerations are included in procurement contracts and that insurance risks are appropriately addressed.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage the CoreWeave construction and contractor safety programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and expectations.
  • Monitor program performance and report findings to EHS and other stakeholders; engage directly with construction projects through site visits.
  • Oversee program implementation quality, including incident investigations and safety plans, while offering training on key EHS programs to CoreWeave staff.
  • Establish and maintain a strong EHS culture for construction projects and contractor engagement; act as the technical EHS resource expert and participate in regulatory inspections.
  • Support and enhance the EHS culture among contractors and construction teams, performing additional duties as requested by management, with a willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 50% of the time).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an EHS field; advanced degrees and EHS technical certifications preferred.
  • Over 10 years of related experience with large-scale dynamic construction projects throughout all phases of planning and execution.
  • Proven experience in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs - both domestic and some international EHS experience.
  • Creative and analytical mindset to drive accuracy and innovation in support of operational value, and demonstrate proven technical EHS generalist experience in safety, health, and environmental program management.
  • Ability to effectively manage matrixed teams in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Technical expertise in Safety, Health, Environmental, and Sustainability.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and customer service-focused communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

The base salary range for this role is $116,000 to $168,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
