Job description

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Johnson City, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Discipline : Allied Health Professional
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift : 8 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Travel

Procedures / Skills :

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate gamma cameras and thyroid uptake probes
  • SPECT and SPECT / CT imaging, image data processing and SPECT reconstruction
  • Radiation safety practices, handling / disposal of radioactive waste
  • IV starts, injections, and removals for nuclear medicine studies
  • Prepare, dispense, document, and store radiopharmaceuticals per NY DOH
  • Quality control procedures (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) per ACR

    • PACS and EPIC documentation, patient education, interdisciplinary communication

    Certifications Required : NMTCB or ARRT(N), NYS Radiologic Technologist license, BLS (AHA, HSI, or Red Cross)
