About the Job

Urgent Needs - Custodial Workers needed for local company. Looking to start a job now, join our team.

A Custodian, also known as a Caretaker, is tasked with keeping a building and its surroundings clean and well-maintained. They are responsible for tasks such as vacuuming floors, cleaning restroom facilities, and disposing of trash to ensure that the occupants of the building have a tidy environment.

The primary responsibility of a custodian is to maintain cleanliness in a workspace, warehouse, or similar environment. This involves a variety of tasks that are performed regularly throughout the day, including cleaning floors, shampooing carpets, emptying trash cans, and dusting surfaces. Additionally, custodians are responsible for changing air filters, waxing floors, ordering cleaning supplies, washing windows, and keeping an inventory of necessary items. They also use equipment such as commercial vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners to ensure spaces are kept clean and organized.
