We are seeking a strategic, people-focused leader to join our executive team as the Director of Operations. This is a pivotal role for a rapidly scaling agency, serving as a critical partner to the CEO with a clear path to increasing leadership responsibilities over time.

Your primary mission is to support and uplift our team of 14 (and growing) motivated professionals by designing and implementing systems for maximum effectiveness and efficiency. This role is about leadership, not management. You will build a robust operational framework that drives employee longevity, agency profitability, and customer retention, enabling our continued expansion into new locations.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Expansion :

Partner with the CEO to execute the company's strategic growth plan, including identifying and leading the operational integration of new office locations via scratch builds or acquisitions.

Translate high-level strategy into clear operational goals, policies, and procedures that reinforce our culture.

Report on employee longevity, agency profitability, and customer satisfaction / retention.

Process Optimization & Scalability :

Analyze all core business processes to identify bottlenecks and design streamlined, scalable workflows.

Champion the adoption of new tools and technologies that enhance productivity and the client experience.

Ensure all operational systems support our team in delivering outstanding, tailored service to our clients.

Financial Management & Oversight :

In partnership with the CEO, oversee budgeting, financial planning, and P&L management for the operational side of the business.

Monitor resource allocation, project profitability, and key financial metrics to ensure the company is meeting its targets.

Drive initiatives to improve cost-effectiveness as the agency scales.

Team Enablement & Development :

Lead and mentor the operations and service teams, fostering a high-performance culture of accountability and collaboration.

Act as a support system for the team, removing obstacles and providing the resources they need to succeed.

Collaborate closely with our external performance coach to ensure our operational systems and team development goals are aligned, allowing our people to thrive.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

Act as the central hub for inter-departmental communication and process alignment.

Ensure seamless handoffs and collaboration between all functions of the agency.

Oversee resource and capacity planning to ensure the agency is well-staffed to meet its growth targets.

Requirements

People-focused leader, not a manager. A proven ability to support, uplift, and empower driven, high-performing teams.

Vision of scaling operations in a high-growth environment.

Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L management, and operational finance.

Experience with implementing and optimizing operational systems. Familiarity with tools like Ricochet 360, Google Workspace, ADP, and QuickBooks is a plus.
