Shape the flow of production at MacLean-Fogg
When the clock strikes 3 PM in Saegertown, a new rhythm begins on the floor. You take the handoff, scan the line, check the boards, and rally a skilled crew. As the Manufacturing Operations Cell Leader, you turn plans into product—keeping people safe, quality tight, and output on pace through the evening.
What your shift looks like
- Lead a production team operating machinery and assembling products; keep lines running safely and efficiently while maintaining product integrity.
- Distribute work, set priorities, and track progress to hit volume and quality objectives for your area.
- Coordinate with earlier and later shifts as well as adjacent departments to maintain a smooth, uninterrupted flow.
- Spot equipment concerns early; partner with maintenance and engineering on repairs and preventive actions to minimize downtime.
- Watch material levels and reorder points so your team never waits on parts or packaging.
- Align staffing and supplies with the production plan in collaboration with planning and materials teams.
- Support in-process checks and work closely with Quality to ensure standards are consistently met.
- Champion a safe, clean, and organized workplace by enforcing 5S and safe work practices.
- Complete shift summaries, inventories, safety verifications, and production records accurately and on schedule.
- Drive continuous improvement to remove waste, reduce bottlenecks, and boost throughput.
- Take on other related responsibilities as needed to support the operation.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.5+ years in manufacturing, including at least 2 years leading or coordinating teams.Work setup
