About The Position

Job Title : Oncology Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year in oncology specialty

License : Active nursing license required

Certifications : BLS, Chemo certification required

Must-Have :

• Chemo certification
• Charting system experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience : 5 patients to 1 nurse on nights
• Ability to float to other areas as required

Description :

Registered Nurse specializing in oncology is needed for a night shift position.

This role requires a commitment to working every other weekend and 50% of holidays during the contract.

The unit focuses on providing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 5 on nights and be able to float to other units as necessary.

All travelers can expect to complete required modules during orientation and annually.

Compliance with floating to various clinical areas is mandatory for this position.
