Certifications : BLS Certification

Must-Have :

• Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months to three (3) years.
• Five plus (5+) years of direct clinical nursing experience.
• Collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Description :

The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities.

The RN engages in the prevention of illness and injury and the alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human responses.

This role includes advocacy in the care of individuals and families.

The RN is responsible for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development.

This is in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, applicable policies, and the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice.

The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, delegating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in managing a group of patients.

The RN serves as a primary nurse or accountable nurse, when designated.

This involves consideration of factors related to safety, effectiveness, competency, cost, and impact.

The RN educates patients and families in health promotion and disease management using available resources.

With a working knowledge of pharmacology, the RN safely administers medications in accordance with policies.

The RN shares responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization.

This includes staffing, time management, supplies, and services.

Compliance with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and policies is essential.

Participation in and support of the Nursing Shared Governance Model is expected.

This includes supporting unit councils, participating in improvement initiatives, and contributing to peer review practices.

The RN actively engages in professional development and continues nursing education.

The RN will integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice.

Providing a supportive learning environment for new employees and students is part of this role.

The RN will follow all organizational values and perform other duties as assigned.
