As a Security Guard Armed Government Site Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service while carrying out armed duties. This post also requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. Pay Rate : $26.81 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Friday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Saturday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sunday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to established protocols.
  • Support law enforcement personnel as required by site-specific guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings while on patrol and communicate any concerns to Allied Universal management and / or site representatives.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by the client.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
