Operations Manager

MACOM designs and manufactures semiconductor products for Data Center, Telecommunication and Industrial and Defense applications. Headquartered in Lowell, Massachusetts, MACOM has design centers and sales offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia. MACOM has more than 75 years of application expertise with multiple design centers, Si, GaAs and InP fabrication, manufacturing, assembly and test, and operational facilities throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. In addition, MACOM offers foundry services that represent a key core competency within our business. MACOM sells and distributes products globally via a sales channel comprised of a direct field sales force, authorized sales representatives and leading industry distributors. Our sales team is trained across all of our products to give our customers insights into our entire portfolio.

Responsibilities :

• Directing and leading a team to make effective decisions for the daily operations to meet all safety, productivity, quality, delivery, and inventory objectives, while driving continuous improvement efforts that foster sustainable results to achieve all Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals.
• Creating and monitoring Operations strategic initiative by identifying plant operations breakthroughs, building a comprehensive action plan, and aligning resources to achieve targets.
• Developing and monitoring monthly operating budgets and capital projects.
• Ensuring all employees are knowledgeable of and comply with standard work policies as defined in the Quality Management System.
• Identifies and solves complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department to ensure sufficient manufacturing capacity exists to achieve all customer commitments.
• Leading the operations team with effective communication and engagement activities as part of the Leadership Team in Lowell.
