Christiana Care Hospital is currently looking to hire a Clinical Practice Coordinator (RN) to support the Aortic Health Program for the Heart & Vascular Center.

The Aortic Health Clinical Practice Coordinator plays a critical role in the multidisciplinary management of patients with aortic disease, including aneurysms, dissections, and other complex aortic pathology. The Aortic Health Clinical Practice Coordinator collaborates with providers across the cardiac surgery and vascular surgery teams to provide clinical nursing expertise and coordination of care for patients with aortic disease throughout all phases of care across the continuum from diagnosis through medical and / or surgical management to long-term follow-up. The coordinator serves as the primary patient and system resource, managing from initial referral and diagnostic work-up through surgical or interventional treatment, post-operative recovery, and long-term surveillance.

The coordinator provides expert clinical oversight, patient education, and care planning while acting as a consistent point of contact and advocate throughout the patient journey. This position also supports program development initiatives, quality improvement, and community education to advance awareness and outcomes for patients with aortic aneurysms, dissections, and other complex aortic conditions.

Work Schedule :

• Full time – 80 hours – Bi-weekly (Monday through Friday, day shift)
• Flexible hours,  7 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
• Office location is on site at ChristianaCare – Newark Campus
• No Holidays, No Weekends, No Call

The primary function of the WOCN is to serve as the clinical resource and consultant for the acute and rehabilitative care of patients with select disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems.  This role offers an opportunity for an expert RN to demonstrate their skill in an autonomous work environment where support is available and offered whenever requested. This part time role will work 20 hours each week, 40 hours per pay period, will require the successful candidate to work Monday through Friday 8-4 : 30 2 days one week and three days the other week of the pay period; weekends are not generally required though may be a necessity occasionally based upon business need; no holidays on call or overnight work.

Hourly Pay Range : $38.22 - $61.16

This pay rate / range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
