Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Custom Machining Corporation specializes in contract manufacturing/machining and high-speed automation machinery. We are the world’s foremost supplier of Rotary End Liners to the canning industry which provides safe, economical and recyclable containers for food and beverage. CMC is looking to add a new member to our team. We are in search for a reliable hard-working shipping and receiving clerk to join our high precision machine shop.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk –1st Shift

Responsibilities:

• Pull and issue orders as needed
• Ship parts as directed

• Can read and understand blueprints to match parts that will be shipping preferred
• Can use measuring tools when needed to match parts to blueprint preferred
• Light assembly work when needed
• Maintain clean, organized, safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements.
• Willing to work overtime as needed

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated skill working in a team environment
• Valid driver license required
• Clean driving record required
• High school diploma/GED
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• 1-year minimum shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Experience working with MRP preferred
• Fork lift certified a plus (DRT will have you trained and certified if needed)

Hours:

1st shift is from 7:00am-3:30pm we are open to working with you on these hours to accommodate busy schedules (kids, long distance travel, etc)
